In 2010, Ashlee & Chris asked Patrick and I to be their wedding photographers for their October 2011 wedding. We had no idea how to “do” wedding photography, all we knew was how to take pictures, and how to make people feel comfortable with us. We are forever grateful to this power duo and would not be where we are today without their trust in us.
Now in 2015, Ashlee & Chris are having TWINS and they asked us to do maternity pictures. Let’s just say, our time together was so sweet and fun. Normally we spend our days with engaged couples and couples on their wedding day, but this day was spent with good friends, soon-to-be parents, and a previous wedding client at Clyburn Arboretum.
Last Friday, Patrick and I had the honor of photographing a beautiful event at Turf Valley.
The luncheon invited women across Maryland to attend the Pretty In Pink Luncheon, an official Blossoms of Hope CHERRYBRATION DAYS event. The women enjoyed retail therapy with over 50 vendors, a served luncheon with dessert, and a fashion show. With unlimited pink champagne, women laughed, drank, dined, and shopped the afternoon away all for a good cause!
Charm City Wed is a Baltimore-based blog that aims to provide stunning inspiration and a top-notch online vendor resource for engaged Maryland area couples. They are pretty awesome.
Teri Kuhn Pozniak, owner of TPoz Photography, just stepped into a new role at Charm City Wed… the Editor-In-Chief. So she threw a big party and invited all the #friendors to come mingle, celebrate, laugh, drink, eat, and just well… be charming and merry!
I have a confession: I strive. And I’m tired of striving.
This thing called life is like a treadmill. You wake up and hop on and set the pace. Most my days are ran in full sprints. I feel like I’m behind, that I have so much to learn, that there’s always “something” I can do. Hypothetically, it’s like I’m running and then I look at the girl next to me and think “Oh… I need to run just as fast”… I need to create like her, I need to take pictures like her… oh… let’s just ramp it up some.
Cassie and Kevin are precious and their story sweet as ever. I asked Cassie to write up a blurb about their relationship (mainly because she can tell it so much better!). My favorite line “we are blessed to have found one another and know that is was simply by God’s sweet grace that we did.” ughh… grab me the tissues! I’m a romantic by nature and fall in love over again with my own husband weekly. Knowing two people are completely and fully vulnerable to fall in love with another is amazing, a God gift indeed. It is by the sweet grace of God that he can hand pick someone for you.
