So if I have to be biased, I just have to say that I am in love with this Federal Hill Boutique called Punch. My good friend Cydney V. owns this lovely boutique down in Federal Hill. She’s become like a sister and we have become cheerleaders for each others businesses. Cydney makes me look super cute, and I get to take pics of all her beautiful clothing, jewelry and gifts. Punch opened shop earlier this year and quickly grew, becoming one of Baltimore Best Boutiques (featured in Best of Baltimore Magazine just last month). We are honored to have them as one of our corporate photo clients. If you haven’t had a change to go, you’ve gotta get down there. We are getting ready to do the winter photoshoot for all the winter goodies coming in so be sure to get down there and get some great gifts for yourself and all your girlfriends, sisters, moms, and more!
Tina & Sean are just too cute for me to deal with! Yet again, Tina and Sean found us thanks to awesome life history and connections. Sean’s brother went to college with brother Josh at Messiah College. Sean’s sister Marta is a photographer and friend of my brothers as well from Messiah College. Marta married Sean’s brother, and referred Sean and Tina to us! Marta, thanks for sending them our way!!
We met Torie and a whole entourage of her great girls at a Bride’s Against Breast Cancer event a couple months ago. From what we could tell after meeting Torie and Chris, we knew they would be perfect for us… we just had to wait to see if they felt the same. So thankful they choose us because when we are together, it just feels like we’ve been friends for years.
Christina and Kyle had the sweetest session at the Elkridge Furnace Inn! What a beautiful place for a wedding or engagement session! These two lovebirds were so natural behind the lens making it super fun for Patrick and I. Watching these two made us realize once again how blessed we are to have such great people in our lives. Christina and Kyle, we are so thankful that you are our friends and one of our Radiant couples.
I’m in the season of life right now that there are all these people and friends I know that are trying for babies, pregnant, or just having little ones. I’m obsessed with it all! I get giddy and excited. I know our day will eventually come when we take the leap of faith, but until then, I will gladly sit and edit beautiful images of pregnant women and their hubbies as they start a new adventure in their lives, and be cheerleaders and encouragers during their process.
It seems that this year most of our couples are the result of online dating. It’s actually amazing, over half our couples met online. I used to be anti-online dating, and I’ve come now to think it’s a fabulous idea!
Megan and Luke met online and started dating in the summer of 2013 and just clicked! They were engaged a year later in July of 2014! These two are two cute. Their initials are the same but backwards MEL & LEM).
When I married Patrick, I married into a fabulous family. Patrick’s cousin John Mike married this amazing woman named Heather, a few months before Patrick and I got married. If you can guess, Heather has become one of my best friends, and I’m seriously so thankful that she’s my family now too. We always say that the whole reason John married her, was so her and I can be best friends through cousins. Thanks Patrick and John Mike.
So Heather used to be a Marino before she became a McDade (my extended family by marriage) and her extended and immediate family asked us to help them with getting a much needed and overdue family session on the calendar.
So when I first met Olivia, we ate some food at Cunningham’s Restaurant, and pretty much knew mutually, we would be a great fit that day. Olivia and Alex are seriously too cute.
We met them up at Jerusalem Mills on a gorgeous evening a couple weeks ago for their golden hour engagement session. They brought some friends along and their precious pup (dog son) Murphy. Wait til’ you see this cutie! Murphy was SO good, and even wanted to be in the pictures!
