I absolutely LOVE the mayflower hotel, love our nation and the monuments that surround DC. When michelle and Pat hired us, we were thrilled as we love the mayflower, its elegance, and its beautiful ballrooms and corridors. Subtle beautiful details are throughout.
Michelle and pat both got ready for their big day on site. Michelle wore a family heirloom which was a crowned veil and blusher. Her classy dress was amazing. Neil wore a white tux… fabulous and he looked all good! They didn’t share a first look so the anticipation was real, welcome, and fulfilling. All separates we’re done pre-ceremony. With the the passing of Michelle’s dad, her amazing uncle stepped into the place of her escort and honor. They rode together in a black Cadillac to the wedding. Upon arrival He walked her down the aisle to Pat. The church was beautiful! Full mass followed by a beautiful cocktail hour for guests. While guests mingled, the newlywed, wedding party and is gallivanted through DC and hit up 3 iconic DC locations! The reflecting pool at the Lincoln Memorial, the WWII museum, and the Washington monument… oh and someone ordered ShakeShack Fries midway through!!
When Brenda and I first talked on the phone, we knew we would be a good fit for each other. Our love for and attention to details is on point and mutual. Brenda reiterated how much she loved details and what this day meant for her and her husband. Backstory, they got married earlier this year but wanted to have an intimate and beautiful party to celebrate each other as well as bring family and friends together in what has been a difficult year for all. This two day event was lovely. Friday night was a beautiful cocktail party at their private home on the water in Baltimore city at the Ritz Carlton. Sushi, wraps, and cake were favorites along with the gorgeous sunset view of Baltimore. The next day, Brenda and Craig hosted a beautiful dinner party at the Pendry Hotel. We met our couple and cruised around the Pendry and the cobblestone streets of Fells Point for a newlywed segment, followed by a sweet cocktail hour with what looked like delicious horderves. Guests were invited to the family style long table for intimate conversations and dinner. Brenda and Craig, we are honored to have been alongside you for your wedding celebration weekend. We wish you both the best and a lifetime of love and happiness. xo
Aww yeah! Megan and Justin, your day came! As one of our rescheduled weddings and one of the hottest days of May, your Saturday wedding was wonderful. We knew it would be a doozy with the heat. From the time that I walked into the bridal suite until we left we knew we were in great company all day. Justin and Megan have the sweetest parents. Not only were they fun and inviting but they were intentional with us and light-hearted. Megan and Justin shared the sweetest first look under the weeping willows at their ceremony site. We were able to get the majority of wedding party photos done.

Due to the heat, florals went out later than we had hoped but they looked beautiful! We still managed to get a great variety of our bride and groom with their chuppah after the ceremony. I don’t know the last time I did so many large extended family photos in such a short window after the ceremony. Their families were great, responsive and respectful of our time and their own. Our bride and groom still managed to get to the tail end of cocktail hour which was amazing.
I mean there’s just so much… the day was awesome. We left their day feeling so fulfilled. They might go down in history as the most family photos we’ve taken in a day but they may go down also as the best families… attentive, receptive and on time for photo segments! The florals are always a favorite for me. Can’t get enough. And Sami’s gown… OMG… Haley Paige, and the bridesmaids… Sami crushed it. What Sami picked out for her babes… they all looked incredible!
What a beautiful day celebrating these two. Vaniah and TJ are one of our Florida couples who planned their beautiful wedding at the Hotel at Arundel Preserve. I absolutely loved that these two had an intimate wedding with their closest friends and family members. The day was so special! I loved the emotional first look between Vaniah and her dad. Her sister and mom were present and watching all of them experience seeing Vaniah for the first time was incredible. The guys and the girls looked so awesome! TJ beamed when he saw her walk through the doors and down the aisle. Lots of families watched online to see these two exchange rings and vows. They danced their way out as husband and wife and enjoyed cocktail hour alongside all. Vaniah and TJ, I loved being there to document those moments as husband and wife. We are so thrilled for you guys and what the future holds! xo
I don’t normally pray for rain on wedding days unless it’s at the end of the night… and for this wedding, my pray was answered! But let’s start back at the beginning on the day. It didn’t look too good weather wise but minute by minute the forecast shifted. Thankfully it did not impact our ability to photograph portraits and family photos which we feel are some of the most important photos of the day!
As one of our more traditional weddings of the year, everything about this day was strategic. Her mom helped Stephanie get dressed, put her veil in and kissed her cheek. Karl’s dad dressed him and helped him with his tuxedo. They got married in a beautiful church on Kent Island right around the corner from their gorgeous venue, Chesapeake Bay Beach Club. If you’ve never been, we hope you get invited there soon to a wedding, it’s just wonderful and has beautiful Bay Bridge views!
Vanessa and Will had a beautiful session at Brookside Gardens! If you’ve never been, you totally should go, spend some time, take a picnic. Bursting with florals, plants waiting to make their debut, it’s so pretty regardless of when you go. V+W were so natural in front of the camera and together and to eat other they were sweet, affectionate and playful. Thanks so much for trusting me with your session, we can’t wait for your big day! xo
What an awesome wedding! Jesse and Lindsay are chill, beautiful, fun and lively! I love how we met these guys! You never know who will see you, even when you’re home. Ms Barbara and Mr Brian (Lindsay’s parents) were on a walk in our neighborhood and happened to pass by our house and saw our branded 4Runner SUV. At some point time later I get an email from Lindsay wanting to meet up after hearing about us from her parents! How cool!? We met outside on our patio during the pandemic… they walked to our house! We loved it. We knew it was love at first sight.
Aww gosh, I don’t even know where to begin with this power couple. Let’s first start off saying that when I met Maria 4 years (yes… 4) at the four seasons bridal show, we would have no idea what would come. To date, these two are our longest standing couple for us. We have now photographed them in 4 different years. 2019 was their engagement session, 2020 was their small Covid wedding soon after the pandemic reared its ugly face, 2021 was their gorgeous American wedding with a reception at Matthews 1600, and 2022 was their Indian wedding! And next year?! I need this couple in my life every year haha.
