The first hour of our job on a wedding day is to gauge the bridal party, access the details, and photograph all those GORGEOUS details that make up a huge part of the day. When we arrived at Beth and Justin’s home, upstairs hanging in their closet was a 1956 wedding gown. Purchased in 1957 from Hochschild Kohn’s department store for $150 by Beth’s great-grandfather. He basically bought her wedding gown. Her gown was worn by her grandmother, her mother, her aunt, and now by her. How incredible. Probably my favorite dress of the year!
I can’t wait for you to scroll through this wedding. The details, the smiles, the colors, the ceremony, and the church, it’s all so amazing. I especially loved Beth’s Father’s speech at dinner. Made me tear up behind the lens. Their Mardi Gras themed send off was pretty awesome too. They LOVE New Orleans.
Beth and Justin, thanks so much for trusting us with your wedding day. Most our couples get a feel for the day because of the engagement session, but you guys were so game to just go for it, to trust us with your day and bring us along for an incredible moment in your life. We wish you guys the best!!
