Yah! I’m so excited to share this wedding today on the blog. I met Ashley via zoom thanks to her officiant Rachael. When Ashely and I started talking, I knew we would be a really good fit. I actually didn’t’ realize how perfect the fit would be until the day actually came.
Ashley and Mike had planned an elopement more than a mini wedding at the gazebo at Quiet Waters Park in Annapolis Maryland. I loved it because it was simple and beautiful. The florals were done by the bride herself, they included their dog in the ceremony and photos, AND her dad and grandparents on her wedding day. Florals were actually wooden and paper and just gorgeous. Even the floral crown was assembled and designed by the bride… it looked incredible!
Our time together was so much fun. I helped Ashley get into her dress (she couldn’t drive fully assembled) and we walked together over to find Mike and do a first look. Their interaction was so sweet. And soon after, we took some more photos, included their pup, and then had a sweet intimate ceremony. Following the ceremony, they all shared some hugs and congratulations, and even some friends stopped by to throw some confetti! We spent the next 2 hours cruising around Quiet Waters and shortly after made our way to AACC, a sentimental location since they met there in college in a painting class. These two are sentimental for sure. They chose the 21st of March for their date because of their birthdays being on the 21st in other months. How fitting and sweet!
Mike and Ashley, I loved being part of your day, thank you for including me. I’m so excited for your future, thankful we’ve met in this amazing life we’ve all been given, and look forward to seeing you guys in the future! We wish you the absolute best!
