We have been waiting years… yes, years for this incredible wedding with Kevin and Eugenia. When they hired us back in 2019, none of us knew what was coming in a few short months. The pandemic impacted all of us, and thanks to great clients, amazing vendors, and great hope, we knew the day would come and we would all be able to celebrate these two amazing people.
Kevin and Eugenia had a gorgeous day on Gibson Island. A year prior to this day, Kevin and Eugenia made their marriage official on the boat slips on Gibson Island surround by immediate family and handful of friends. To be back on the island felt great, and this time with 10x the amount of people! The morning kicked off with the bridesmaids getting ready at the cottage while the guys golfed and hung out at the clubhouse. Kevin and Eugenia anticipated the moments leading up to their first look. I loved how Kevin looked at his wife as if it was really their wedding day, and not just a party. We cruised around the property of the club and then met the bridal party to go back to the boat docks for portraits. With smaller families we were able to get them a lot of variety and as we say on most wedding days “kids are like popsicles, eventually they melt” and the littles did great until they couldn’t anymore.
I am sooo excited to share photos from Jasmine and Brian’s Baltimore themed engagement session! They are big Ravens fans and Orioles fans, so we met outside the Baltimore Ravens stadium and worked our way around town. They were so much fun and happy to walk around the city to be able to shoot at spots that had important memories for them. Luckily, the Orioles had a night game, so in the morning we were able to shoot at both sides of the stadium with no people around. The Marriott Camden Yards is the host hotel for their wedding, so Jasmine was excited to have the stadium photos to print for the weekend festivities. After the Orioles stadium, we walked over to Pratt Street Ale House where they are considering having their welcome party, and did some fun shots there. It was bright, but we were able to find shade and make the most of it! We finished at the Inner Harbor waterfront, where no shoot is complete without a photobomb from the pirate ship. We decided we were done, so I took Jasmine’s ring for a photo, and when I turned around, Brian was over at Rita’s collecting the perfect end to an engagement session – ice cream! So of course we needed to shoot a few more while they enjoyed some soft serve and laughed together. Thanks for a great session, Jasmine and Brian, I am so excited to capture your special day this fall!!
LOVE this BMI wedding we shot in April. What a beautiful day, and a wonderful couple. I have to start off saying that most our couples have relationship prior to wedding day, like we shot their engagement photos or got dinner with them, or met them at a bridal show. Hannah and Jason are incredible. We met them in person for the first time on their wedding day and I felt like I’ve known Hannah forever. Not only is she sweet, but she’s compassionate, intentional, and she loves her family. And so does Jason.
Excited to share this engagement session with you all! Sami and Drew had an awesome session with us, and we couldn’t be more excited for them to tie the knot this July at Rosewood Farms! Sami and Drew were up for an adventure with us, complete with bad Uber drivers, and hilarious moments with humanity. We cruised from the Jefferson Memorial, to the Tidal Basin, to the WWII Memorial to the Reflecting Pool at Lincoln Memorial. We were literally chasing daylight at one point and wanted to pop champagne as the sun set. I loved their pup, his bowtie, and her Mrs. jacket… makes me want to get one 10 years later haha. Sami and Drew, thanks for spending time with us at dinner, we loved getting to know you better and can’t wait for July!
Yah! This wedding has been delivered and they love their photos! And I have to say, we do too! When we met Steph and John, we just knew that they would be one of those couples that would have an awesome wedding day, be excited for the full experience of the day, but also trust us to do what we love and are good at. The whole day was wonderful. These two opted not to do a first look which allowed us to do a lot of their separates on the front end of the day. Steph shared a really sweet reveal with her dad. John gave Stephanie a photo album… like a custom one and it was so sentimental. One of my favorite details from their day was including their dog on socks as well as signature drinks. Oh, and Steph wore cowboy boots!
Referrals are so incredible. I can’t even think what life would look like not to have a relationship with people. Ashley and Joe are one of those couples. They found us through one of our past couples Abby and Eric, one of our 2016 couples. Ashley and Joe are wonderful people. And their families are also so sweet. We met Ashley and Joe in person at their engagement shoot and what was probably one of the hottest engagement sessions of the entire year, maybe even two years. Joe had just returned from Kuwait from deployment so we were so pumped to be able to spend some time with him pre-wedding day and get to know them at dinner.
We love when friends from other seasons of life come to us to document their wedding. This story is fun because Patrick and Ashley go back to the Chapelgate days in highschool (I think that’s right, maybe even younger!). Fast forward to a few years ago, we were doing an event at Turf Valley. Ms. Kim, what we call her, is Ashley’s mom and she was on staff at Turf Valley and a huge part of the famous Wedding Extravaganza event planning team. We loved our meetings with Kim and team, and soon after re-met Ashley. Fast forward to last year, Ashley invited us and hired us to document the unity of her and Jimmy and their beautiful family. Dang, do they have the sweetest and prettiest kids!
Aww yah! Okay, so I’m just going to be straight to the point. I love this session for a lot of reasons.
They have a little guy named Quinn who I could just eat up he’s so sweet and cute! I love when couples include their babies and or furbabies!
Dinner afterwards was awesome… thanks Keegan for bearing with us as we navigated options! LOVED the thai food we got.
It was coooollllddd. Like not kidding, like we could not feel our fingers or hands. We had to all take thaw breaks. I didn’t love that…BUT what I LOVED was that the two sucked it up, did they session and looked sexy even in the cold. And baby Quinn, didn’t even cry.., what!!? What a champion baby!
And lastly, the outfits. I loved what outfits they choose!
Kathryn and Keegan, thanks for trusting us, with the day, your son, and even meeting your parents was so awesome! We can’t wait for your day!
I’ll never forget when Michelle called me, emailed me and texted me. I was soo excited to be able to shoot for such a wonderful woman, her soon to be husband and her kids.
I’m so thankful that we made the decision back in 2020 during the pandemic to launch Beloved Weddings… a wedding option for under 5 hours and under 50 people. It allowed us to give people incredible photos documenting their love story, without the high expense for our couples simply wanting documentation for smaller event.
