Amy and Alex are two peas in a pod. When we first met Alex he had a rockin’ mohawk, and Amy was this quiet fiance at the bridal show. All I know is that these two are definitely not quiet and they are definitely 100% in love with each other.
Amy and Alex get the award as a Radiant Bride with the most unique guests, details, and wedding day overall. I’ve never seen a bride walk down the aisle with Fairy wings, nor have I seen a Leprehchaun in the audience. I LOVED how unique and fun this wedding was, totally catering to our bride and groom.
With accents of deep purples and greens, their wedding flowers were home grown… how amazing! From their bouquets to boutineers to their reception centerpieces. Alex wore a traditional kilt wedding because… he liked it and has some Scottish decent. They decided not to have a bridal party, but instead had their team of “fairy troupes and ninjas” usher folks in. We came to find out these “fairies” were literal fairy belly dancers that Amy dances and performs with, (which by the way Amy, I’m still taking you up on my belly dancing lessons!)
Another fun and unique piece to their reception… Amy and Alex decided not to do a cake cutting and instead share ice cream and have a snowball machine.
Amy and Alex, we loved getting to know you throughout your engagement and leading up to your wedding day. Thank you for inviting us in amongst your friends and families. By the way, Maggie’s personal two favorite things about you guys was the set of wings you had for Maggie (which she rocked during reception) and the letter you wrote us at the very beginning of our friendship asking us to be your wedding photographers. We will never forget you invited us to come photograph it, barefeet welcome. 🙂
