Today on the blog we are sharing Amanda + Luke’s beautiful wedding day! Amanda and Luke exchanged vows at the breathtaking Cathedral of Mary Our Queen in Baltimore, Maryland. The celebration continued at the Evergreen Museum and Library, where the newlyweds and their guests enjoyed a day filled with love, laughter, and cherished moments.
Melissa started the day with the girls at Amanda’s family home while Patrick met the guys at the Delta hotel downtown. We did reveals with both Amanda + her dad, Amanda + her bridesmaids, and Luke + his mom! Reveals have become such a fun part of the wedding day, and we love to see the sweet reactions!
The ceremony at the Cathedral of Mary Our Queen was such a beautiful sight. The amazing stained glass windows, grand ceilings, and incredible details was the perfect backdrop for Amanda + Luke “I Do’s”! Following the ceremony, all of the guests lined up on the steps blowing bubbles while Amanda and Luke made their exit as newlyweds! It was magical and whimsical and such a great opportunity for fun photos. There was a break between ceremony and cocktail hour, which we love (especially on a no-first look day) because we can take our time with portraits and our couple is still able to enjoy mingling during cocktail hour. We did a bunch of family photos in front of the church after – everyone was organized, paying attention, and ready to go so we were able to get them done quickly! We did some Wedding Party and Newlywed portraits here before hopping on the bus and heading over to the beautiful Evergreen Museum + Library!
Cocktail hour took place on the terrace and was complete with passed hors d’oeuvres, an oyster shucking station, and a cocktail hour band composed of family members! The reception was in the carriage house, which was decorated with lush greenery and stunning florals that gave such an enchanting vibe. Everyone enjoyed a delicious dinner, and danced the night away. While guests were dancing, Amanda + Luke stepped out to cut their cake, which was added to an amazing dessert table with cannolis and several flavors of miniature pies.
From start to finish, Amanda and Luke’s wedding was full of love, laughter, family, and amazing memories! We are so grateful they chose us to capture their special day. Amanda + Luke – we wish you a lifetime of happiness! xo
