We can’t believe we haven’t blogged this session! 2021 was insane with the volume of weddings and sessions we had… thanks to COVID and couples being forced to reschedule. BUT that didn’t stop us from photographing amazing sessions and couple!
Allie and Brian reached out soon after they booked us and made it known that they wanted their session at a Hot Air Balloon festival. In fact, I think that when we met them, they told us that and we put it on our calendar before they had even committed to us as their wedding photographers.
The day was soo fun! We basically went not fully knowing what we would be able to do. Maggie, not being shy at all, reached out the the main dude, like the head of the festival, emailed him telling him what we were hoping to capture for our couple and he basically pulled a couple strings for us and we got to go and talk to some of the captains. All I know is that we made out so good on this session. We not only got to sit in a basket, walk next to them, lean against them, but Allie and Brian actually got to go IN a hot air balloon… unreal!
What an awesome session! WE are soo pumped about how this turned out and probably should have submitted this to publication (Allie, do it! Submit it! haha) but we just haven’t had any time!
Allie and Brian, what a day. And may was that funnel cake, fair food, and sundaes sooo good. We loved our time with you and can’t wait for more adventures with you!
