Emma and Eric’s wedding at the Evergreen Museum in Baltimore, Maryland, was a day filled with love, laughter, and a touch of the unexpected. Despite the sweltering heat, which made it one of the hottest weddings of the year, their special day was nothing short of magical.
Originally, Emma and Eric had planned for an outdoor ceremony to take advantage of the Evergreen Museum’s stunning grounds. However, the soaring temperatures and the large number of guests led to a last-minute decision to move the ceremony indoors. This change of plans did nothing to dampen the spirits of the couple or their guests. The intimate indoor setting proved to be just as beautiful and allowed everyone to stay cool and comfortable.
The couple’s creativity and personal touches were evident throughout the day. They chose to hold the cocktail hour on the patio, complete with amazing food by Rouge and beautiful large umbrellas and beautiful hor d’oevures. A unique and memorable feature of their wedding was having their first dance and a large group photo of all the guests during cocktail hour. This delightful change from the traditional extended family photos added a joyful and inclusive atmosphere to the celebration.
The Evergreen Museum offered a charming and historical backdrop for the wedding. The space, which was once horse stables, has been beautifully repurposed and served as the perfect location for the photo booth, cards, and favors. Speaking of favors, Emma and Eric delighted their guests with a delicious and thoughtful selection of Berger cookies and Philly pretzels, adding a sweet and savory touch that everyone enjoyed.
One of my favorite details was the use of Emma and Eric’s engagement photos as centerpiece table numbers. This personal touch not only looked stunning but also added a sentimental element to the reception. It was a lovely way to share their journey with their guests.
Throughout the day, we explored the property and captured moments at various favorite locations, both before and after the ceremony. The grounds of the Evergreen Museum offered countless picturesque spots, and we made sure to take full advantage of them. Even as the sun began to set, we found ourselves capturing the romance and beauty of the day and ran through fields laughing.
Emma and Eric’s wedding was a true testament to their love and joy. Everyone had a fantastic time, celebrating and making memories that will last a lifetime. It was an honor to be part of such a special day and to witness the joy and happiness that surrounded this wonderful couple.
Here’s to Emma and Eric—a couple who made their wedding day uniquely theirs, creating an unforgettable experience for everyone involved.
