Last weekend, my cousin Krissy got married in Richmond Virginia. What a beautiful weekend away and what a fabulous reason for a road trip! She was an absolutely stunning bride.
Krissy invited me to her bridesmaids luncheon at The Blue Goat, a Neo-southern comfort food restaurant, sourced locally when possible. (They have the BEST TOT-CHOs – spicy tater-tots I’ve ever had, hoping to try to replicate in my own kitchen hehe).
Krissy’s maid of honor (and sister) Kellie asked me if I could help with decor and pictures. Of course I said yes and “signed up” and started planning. I’m color oriented and the fact that I LOVE entertaining and all things design, we made the “Chef’s Room” at the restaurant fit perfectly with the colors of Krissy’s wedding. Our decor fit the room so well. I loved capturing this special time for Krissy and her girls through pictures. The food was wonderful, the company even better.
Here’s a glimpse into our time together.
Thank you Kellie and Krissy and Aunt Lisa for a wonderful weekend.
Thank you to the Blue Goat and their staff for awesome food and being so hospitable. Great service, great food, and good people.
Richmond, until we meet again, thanks for a great weekend! I ate at more of your restaurants then I thought possible in 2 days.
