I am so excited to share this wedding with you all! Alyssa and Prashant got married at the beautiful Baltimore Marriott Waterfront Hotel!
This couple is a power duo, just incredible people. Everyone at their wedding was kind, their guests, their families. These two had the best of both worlds with two ceremonies to bind their family traditions together.
We met these guys at their engagement session back in 2019! As a rescheduled wedding from 2020, these guys had lots of time to plan their beautiful day! They went all out with a huge arbor for both ceremonies stuffed with florals, traditional and non traditional dishes. A favorite feature was the boxwood wall complete with a neon sign of their last name that would later have a final home in their home.
I think some of our favorite moments and details of their day ranged from their boxwood backdrop, to their beautiful show stopping floral arch that served as an intimate enclosure for their Indian Ceremony, and as the setting for where they would spend their evening eating dinner as husband and wife while enjoying the view of their favorite people on earth. Prashant had a killer suit designed and all his men also had custom suits. His suit was lined with images and photographs from their engagement session. So amazing!
Day of, these two had an outfit change which for us as photographers is sooo fun! Lots of variety with two vibes going on. We loved being able to capture and document all the groupings in dual outfits to honor cultures from both Alyssa and Prashant! The Living Radiant team as a whole loves culture, love people from all backgrounds. We love photographing different cultures and the sentimental aspects of peoples lives, while all the while learning the significance of tradition and honor.
Alyssa shared a first look with her dad in the hotel, and his reaction is one of the best! There’s no denying how proud of her he is of her. Even the bridesmaids and groomsmen had outfit changes!
Following the Indian ceremony, and the outfit changes, these two had a sweet western style ceremony. Their exit was so fun, love when the bride raises her bouquet in excitement! Cocktail hour was complete with a boxwood table seating list, great drinks, a guest book, and a really neat honey and beehive display (ask couple for more details about this… really cool!)
Once the reception started it was tears and laughs, from their parent dance to their comical maid of honor speech and best man speech. Guests off all ages danced, sang, and hugged. The neon sign of these two gets to be hung in their home together!
