We are so excited to share this beautiful Fells Point engagement session on the blog today! I met Marina and Eddie in Fells Point, Baltimore for our summer evening shoot. We started at one of my favorite spots – just out of the way of the crowded streets, and tucked away with brick walls and beautiful ivy. After that, we did a little segment with the shimmering harbor water behind them, as we were heading down the pier to do some fun twirls with Baltimore waterfront in the background. One of the reasons I love engagement sessions is because we get to spend time with our awesome couples before their wedding day, and I loved the chance to get to know them better as we cruised around Fells Point to get a variety of backgrounds. After Marina changed into her second outfit, we walked down on the cobblestone street – it’s such a charming and old-world part of the city, when you add in our almost-newlyweds, it was an absolutely beautiful scene! We lucked out and were able to sneak in a little sunset segment at the Pendry pool which was so fun and unexpected. Then I was looking around for something to shoot Marina’s engagement ring on, and we came across this adorable Dandelion flower cart! It was self serve, you could take flowers and pay online, so we picked some out – bonus points because it came in a Diet Coke bottle. While I did the ring details, Marina + Eddie sat in a little cafe table, and that ended up being my favorite photo of the whole day! These lovebirds have their wedding coming up next month and I can’t wait to capture their day!
