This is probably the first time in a long time that we’ve had days and day and day of rain. What’s crazy is that somehow the clouds didn’t open up until minutes after finishing all portraits for this amazing couple.
The week leading up to Stephanie and Brad Turf Valley wedding was one of suspense. Thinking through Game Plan A and B (and C too) and reworking timelines to make the most out of photo time on their wedding day.
The morning of the wedding the sun was out and smiles were on all our faces. We knew we had a window of daylight and sunshine before the clouds would roll in. We still can’t believe it. We even were ready with rain boots and umbrellas.
This wedding was beautiful. Steph and Brad incorporated beautiful Jewish custom and traditions into their Christian ceremony. They had yarmulkes for guests to take into the ceremony, they had a beautiful Chuppah with Brads Jewish tallit (which is a prayer shawl) covering the top.
Being a couple with split football affiliation (Redskin versus Ravens), this couple danced to such fun music, and even incorporated the Hora both for themselves, and both sets of parents. Such great laughter and joy exuded from the dance floor and the guests watching from their seats.
Stephanie and Brad, we are so thrilled for you guys. What an amazing day to be a part of. Congrats and Best Wishes to you guys!
