We met Tracey and Jason towards the end of a bridal shower early this year at Eagles Nest. When I saw them I thought they were really cute and could only hope that they would hire us. We started talking and I quickly came to realize that these guys were actually the exact kind of client that we not only loves but we knew if they chose us that this would be a really cool relationship. Tracey and Jason were like us… they had spent a lot of their years praying and believing for God to bring an amazing spouse.
We all had something in common that I thought was really special. These guys love God and so do we. We knew as soon as they booked us that this relationship would be really special. Because we value marriage and hope for every afters, and because they did too it wasn’t just any old ceremony that we were shooting.
Watching these to get married was emotional mainly because we knew that they had waited not just long enough but waited until they knew it was right. I’ll never forget it their engagement session. Tracey told me she had a book of letters written to God about her future spouse and letters written to her future spouse. Some might think that’s really weird but I have one as well, so it wasn’t weird to me at all. Her and I had that really sweet connection and we never knew who would end up with.
Their wedding day was really incredible. Surrounded by family and friends they dance, they laughed, they cried. Our time with them for newlywed portraits was really special. Maybe some of our favorite to date because we understood the significance for them and we wanted to do our best to capture their love story.
Tracey and Jason, your wedding day goes beyond details and beyond colors. Thanks so much for inviting us to be alongside you for such an amazing moment of your life. You better come visit and hang out with us whenever you come to town next!
