When I think of Maria and Shantanu, I have so so many amazing memories. Let’s start off with how we met Maria. It was our first time doing the Four Seasons bridal show, and we met Maria and really hit it off. Little did we know that she and Shantanu would hire us, I get an email from her wedding planner basically saying “you’re hired” and they want to get things moving. We were sooo excited. Probably me more than Patrick at first only because upon finding out that Shantanu was Indian, and I lived in India for a month, crave Indian food all the time, and even own a few Saris, I knew we were in for a beautiful wedding. We did their engagement photos in Baltimore and LOVED our time with them, so much that the 4 of us closed Little Havana and were there for 4-5 hours hanging out post their session. And then COVID hit in March of 2020 and they moved their big weddings to 2021 and 2022. They decided to have their ceremony at their favorite Baltimore brewery, which they asked us to come photograph and we were sooo glad they did!
It was later in 2020 that they decided to postpone their wedding a second time or really half of it. These guys will be our couple in our history that we have for 4 years straight! Engagement Session in 2019, Beloved Wedding in 2020, Catholic Wedding in 2021 (this blog post!) and then next year we get to be with them again for an awesome 2022 Indian Wedding! Can you tell how pumped we are!?
Maria and Shantanu, what a fabulous day… we absolutely have loved being alongside you. You had our largest wedding party to date, and I’ve decided we are making ourselves honorary wedding party… I’ll pretend to be a bridesmaid without a bouquet next time… I’m totally wearing a Sari or beautiful Punjabis though, can’t wait!
We are so happy we did that bridal show because we met you. We would do it all over again to meet you. We love the friendship we’ve built with you and can’t wait for what’s to come! So much fun awaits in the months to come! xo
