Liz & Charlie | Intimate Baltimore City Wedding at Gunther & Co
Some stories come full circle in the most beautiful way. Liz’s story is one I’ve been honored to walk alongside for years. Many years ago, I photographed her first wedding to Jason — a day full of joy and love. Over time, Liz became more than a client; she became a friend. I captured her family’s milestones — newborn sessions, Christmas photos, family portraits — documenting the chapters of their life together.
When Jason got sick and later passed away, my heart broke for Liz and her children. I had the privilege of photographing his celebration of life, a powerful reminder of love, loss, and legacy.
But life has a tender way of weaving new hope through brokenness. Charlie, a longtime friend, re-entered Liz’s life. With his children and hers, they built something beautiful — a blended family rooted in friendship, faith, and second chances. When Liz got engaged, she reached out and said, “I can’t imagine anyone else photographing my wedding except you.” My heart melted. What an incredible honor.
Their wedding day at Gunther & Co in Baltimore City was intimate, intentional, and filled with laughter and love. With just 50 guests, every face in the room mattered. The setting was warm and chic — the perfect reflection of Liz and Charlie’s personalities. Liz wore a gorgeous beaded gown that shimmered in the sunlight, and her vibrant blue heels tied in the sweetest “something blue” tradition shared with her bridesmaids.
Before the ceremony, we took portraits along the charming brick-lined architecture of Gunther — Liz and Charlie’s joy was sweet. Their friends beamed as they watched these newlyweds promise forever, surrounded by close family and friends who have loved them through every season.
This wedding wasn’t just a celebration of two people coming together — it was a story of redemption, resilience, and love reborn. Liz and Charlie, photographing your day was an honor beyond words.
