Kendall and Kyle showed up to their engagement session with the best little sidekicks—their two dogs. If you’ve ever wondered whether you should bring your pups along for photos, the answer is always yes. They trotted happily down the cobblestones, wagging tails and all, and instantly brought so much personality (and laughter) to the start of the evening. It was the perfect way to kick things off, and those first few frames with their whole little family together are some of my favorites.
Once the pups were settled, it was time for Kendall and Kyle to really take in all that Fells Point has to offer. There’s something about this neighborhood—the charm of the old streets, the waterfront breeze, the cozy corners you only find if you wander—that makes it feel like it was made for romantic evenings. These two slipped so naturally into the setting, as if the streets were theirs alone.
We meandered through cobblestone alleys and found little pops of color from rowhomes and shopfronts. The laughter never stopped—Kyle has this way of making Kendall smile so effortlessly, and she lights up every time she looks at him. They’d pause in the middle of the street, forget anyone else was around, and just soak in the moment.
As the sun started sinking lower, we headed toward the water. The harbor was glowing, with sailboats bobbing in the distance and the skyline painted in soft pastels. Kendall and Kyle leaned against the railing, the city humming quietly behind them, and it was one of those moments where you could feel how right they are together.
By the time the city lights flickered on, it felt like the perfect wrap to the evening. From puppy kisses to waterfront sunsets, their session was a blend of fun, warmth, and romance that was completely them. I can’t wait to capture their wedding day—it’s going to be just as full of love, laughter, and maybe even a few wagging tails.
