Doing siblings weddings is always and has always been special for us.
3 1/2 years ago we shot a wedding for a couple named Seth and Megan. It was beautiful and so much fun. That day I met her whole family, including her sister Katie. Katie is sweet and fun and beautiful. When Katie got engaged to Mitch we were so honored that they reached out to us to want to to photograph their day. Even more special was the fact that my past couple, Megan and Seth, gifted us to their siblings as their wedding present. Holy Moly! I am beyond blessed and honored and don’t take that for granted. So Megan and Seth thank you.
Now for Katie and Mitch. What a day you guys had! We pretty much loved all of it from the time we did a bridesmaid reveal with all your bridesmaids, a dad reveal too. The corner suite at the hotel was perfect for lighting and showed all the emotion!
The first look, our adventure through Annapolis for all portraits was memorable. I especially loved that baby Molly was there and we got to meet her!
Katie and Mitch, absolutely loved watching you guys say “I Do” in a beautiful Annapolis church. Seeing you walk out as husband and wife is in my memory. Following the ceremony, we did a segment of extended family photos out in front of the church. Cocktail hour and reception was at the beautiful Anchor Inn. That was our first time shooting there and what a treat. A great space with beautiful lighting. And what a sunset we had that bounced off the water. We knew we had to steal our couple and their bridal party for a couple more segments.
Katie and Mitch… watching you guys literally smile all day long brought us so much joy. We are so excited for you and your adventures in Hawaii looked amazing. If there’s one thing I’ve come to learn about you guys, you are always up for an adventure. We love that about you. Thank you for trusting us on your wedding day! We wish you all the best!
