When we were helping Katie and Daniel figure out a location for their engagement session, these guys had so many incredible ideas. They kept saying, we want something really unique. These guys opted for two locations which was so great, because 1) they have very different photos and feels at two locations and 2) we got to do something unique and something close to home for them.
We’ve never shot at the Bromo Seltzer Tower downtown and what a gem that place is. Built in 1911, which clock hands bigger than Big Ben’s, this place is so legit and neat. We met Katie and Daniel, took the 1911 elevator to the top and sweet Ms Betsy dropped us off. The only warning… don’t touch the glass… it’s a 17 floor drop. And we said, YES MAM’.
Katie and Daniel’s photos are some of our favorite. The light, their color palette, and their cuteness. I mean, Katie’s dress even matched the blue Bromo bottles without realizing it!
From there we left and headed down to Brookside Gardens to catch the sun setting through the rose gardens. With an outfit change, these guys looked so sweet together among the budding blooms. Katie grew up in the neighborhood, the park is a regular place for her family, especially around the Holidays.
Katie and Daniel, way to make clock towers looks oh so good, and for laughing and trying new poses with us in the gardens. You guys did awesome and we are so excited for whats to come. Even the geese are excited when they decided to photobomb your photos!
