We are so pumped to share this wedding up on the blog today. What an incredible couple, cute, sweet, and a ton of fun! When we met Julia and John at their engagement session at Lake Roland, I wasn’t really sure what to think of John. I wasn’t sure if he liked us haha. It wasn’t until we got to dinner after their session that he came out of his shell with us, and we realized that we were going to have so much fun at their wedding!!
When their wedding day actually came these two had the best day. While it was super hot, these guys did not complain. We stayed ahead time wise the entire day with buffers to and from our locations. These guys had a beautiful ceremony in the train shed at the Winslow venue in Baltimore City. Followed by a loud and full cocktail hour in the hallways, people caught up, shared life, busted out laughed and talked, while catering finished playing salads. I am a fan of room reveals because it’s the first time our couples see their vision brought to life before it’s wrecked by humanity, kidding aside, it’s just super cool. And when I mean wrecked by humanity, I mean purses and jackets and beers and booze spread across the table tops. They got to see floral arrangements and candlelit tables, their cake, and more. Taking a minute to soak that up is so special.
Let’s recap their day! Julia got ready at her parents house in Timonium, then shared a first look with John on the four seasons waterfront promenade. We spent the early part of the day documenting their first look, families amd wedding party before heading to Winslow. The ceremony was sweet and special with great readings and cool moments. Reception was beautiful, with tables on both levels of the venue, a rockin band, glow wands, and sparklers. What a night!
Julia and John, your days was so fun and special! We are honored that we got to be alongside you for your wedding day! We hope you have an incredible 2024!
