Helen + Kendall | Swan Harbor Farm Bridal Portraits
When Helen and Kendall reached out to me, I immediately loved the heart behind their idea. They got married earlier this year, but like many couples, their wedding day went by in a beautiful blur — and they didn’t get as many portraits together as they had hoped. So, they decided to dress back up and create something truly special: a romantic post-wedding bridal session at Swan Harbor Farm in Havre de Grace, Maryland.
The day couldn’t have been more magical. A soft mist hung over the water, the fog gently hugged the willow trees, and everything felt still and peaceful — like the world had slowed down just for them. Helen looked breathtaking in her lace gown with a cathedral veil that caught every wisp of breeze, and Kendall looked so sharp in his white tux jacket. Together, they were pure elegance.
We wandered the property — from the gardens and roses by the farmhouse to the long brick path lined with weeping willows, and finally down to the dock overlooking the Chesapeake. The fog created this cinematic, dreamlike glow that made every frame feel straight out of a classic love story. One of my favorite moments was when they held up a tiny Polaroid of themselves kissing on the pier — a tangible gift I gave them to remember the day in a fun nostalgic way.
Helen and Kendall’s Swan Harbor portraits are such a beautiful reminder that it’s never too late to celebrate your love, get dressed up again, and soak in the joy of being together. This session was soft, romantic, and deeply full of heart — and I’m so honored they chose me to capture it.
