We LOVE elopements and Eugenia and Kevin’s beautiful Gibson Island ceremony was definitely a perfect example of a lovely, detained and intimate one.
When we started the conversations of postponing Kevin and Eugenia’s April 2020 wedding to 2021, it was a no brainer. We all wanted a beautiful wedding complete with family and friends. Courts were closed, these lovebirds were out of state, and restrictions were in full force.
Fast forward to, these cuties decided to get married in 2021 and reschedule their big wedding celebration to 2022. We were so thrilled that they wanted us to come document the day.
We surprised them and I brought Patrick along with me for their Beloved Wedding! We had done their engagement session on Gibson Island before and had a blast, so on their elopement day, after a sweet first look by the clubhouse, we cruised all over the island via golf cart. I especially loved that they included their sweet dog in their photos too. After our time with them, they headed to the marina to take a boat ride from the loading dock to the wedding dock. They said their vows on a pier at the Gibson Island boathouse in the presence of 11 close friends and family.
It was a lovely celebration, decorated beautifully. I tell all our couples that just because a ceremony or wedding is small, it doesn’t have to suffer from a details perspective. This wedding is a perfect example of that. We worked with the amazing Elizabeth Bailey wedding team, and Ann’s Garden for this wedding. I love beautiful flatware and china! I especially loved the intimate dinner scape they set… blue and white china, floral arrangements, and the lanterns and florals at the ceremony.
Eugenia and Kevin, thank you so much for letting us be witnesses at your beautiful wedding. We can’t wait to celebrate with you next year! You’re gonna dance and have a blast… part 2! We are excited we will have you for 3 years in a row!
