We are excited to share this engagement session 1) because it’s beautiful and 2) because it’s a shout out to one of our amazing couples who have had to reschedule their wedding because of the pandemic. Last weekend these two would have been married and had the most killer party of all time on Gibson Island. We were SOO pumped to shoot their wedding and honestly, now that we have to wait a whole year, it’s only going to build the excitement and anticipation of their day. Sharing this today hopefully will give you an awesome perspective on these two… they are fun, sweet, loyal, and totally in love. Most of the time we meet couples face to face for the first time in our home. We literally met these guys in the kitchen at Kevin’s parents home after meeting his mom first. Talk about giving a good impression… I’m always so much better in my own zone at first, but the hospitality, sweetness, and kindness of Kevin’s parents set us at ease and soon after meeting our couple, we were like… this is gonna be awesome.
Eugenia and Kevin had an awesome session. We cruised the island together, finding adventure, finding great locations based off lighting and with an incredible sunset, we knew we struct gold both in location and in our couple.
Kevin and Eugenia… you guys are champions. You guys have had the best attitude and perspective on this whole thing with rescheduling and you’re the best model of “flexibility” that we’ve seen yet. We hope you enjoy another “few months” (just keep telling yourselves that) just to enjoy each other, building a life and getting closer (literally) in these times. We can’t wait to celebrate the anticipated wedding next April! It’s gonna be amazing and soooo worth the wait.
