When we say big Greek wedding, we mean BIG — and Eirini and Michael’s wedding was everything you’d hope for and more! From the moment we walked into the bridal suite filled with pink robes, laughter, and the smell of hairspray and joy, we knew this day would be one for the books.
Eirini looked absolutely stunning in her gown — layers of lace, a sweeping train, and a bouquet that could have been straight out of a royal wedding. Her bridesmaids, glowing in blush satin, surrounded her with so much love and excitement as she made her grand staircase reveal. It was the perfect way to start a day that would overflow with emotion, tradition, and celebration.
The ceremony took place at a beautiful Greek Orthodox church — a space filled with history, faith, and family. We loved capturing the timeless customs that make Greek weddings so unique: the crowns (stefana) being joined together to symbolize unity, the circling of the altar hand-in-hand, and the quiet, reverent moments between Eirini and Michael as they began their life as husband and wife.
You could feel generations of love and legacy in the room. Parents and grandparents beamed with pride, and every guest was part of this sacred, joy-filled moment.
Once everyone arrived at Martin’s West, the energy skyrocketed! Over 250 guests filled the ballroom, and the celebration began with traditional Greek dancing, incredible live music, and (of course) money flying through the air — a true mark of Greek joy and generosity!
Everywhere we turned, people were smiling, laughing, clapping, and celebrating together. Kids were dancing in circles, grandparents were waving napkins in the air, and the dance floor never stopped. The Greek band kept the rhythm alive all night long — the sounds of the bouzouki and drums echoing as family and friends joined in one giant circle of celebration.
And we can’t talk about a Greek wedding without mentioning the food — table after table of amazing dishes, overflowing platters, and desserts that made everyone come back for seconds. It truly was a feast worthy of the occasion.
As photographers, we live for weddings like this — full of emotion, energy, and authentic moments that remind us what love and family are all about. Eirini and Michael’s day was elegant, joyful, and heartfelt from start to finish.
