Covid-19 Policies

COVID-19 Policies + Rescheduled Weddings

CURRENT 2021 COUPLES:

UPDATED JANUARY 4, 2021:

According to Executive Orders announced WEDNESDAY JUNE 10, 2020 by Governor Hogan, starting FRIDAY JUNE 12th at 5pm, outdoor weddings are permitted, there is no gathering limit, venues may host at 50% occupancy (the Fire Marshall’s office assigns occupancy limit and issues a certificate), the CDC recommendation is 250 people or less. Social distancing regulations are still in effect and face coverings are required of all staff/vendors.

AS OF JUNE 19, 2020 5PM PRIVATE EVENTS: Indoor weddings are permitted, there is no gathering limit, venues may host at 50% occupancy (the Fire Marshall’s office assigns occupancy limit and issues a certificate), the CDC recommendation is 250 people or less. Social distancing regulations are still in effect, face coverings are required of all staff/vendors.

AS OF AUGUST 17, 2020 PRIVATE EVENTS: According to the Baltimore City Health Department, the 50% capacity remains in place, no limit on outdoor guest counts, though it is recommended in both instances you follow CDC guidelines re: social distancing and mask wearing.

AS OF NOVEMBER 10, 2020 PRIVATE EVENTS: Indoor events can operate at 50% capacity. In Baltimore City, indoor events are limited to 25% capacity. Churches can operate at 75% capacity.

What this means for our 2021 couples is that Force Majeure officially ended June 12, 2020 and we are advising all our couples to contact their venues to see what guidelines they will have in place as well as what their occupancy threshold is. Guest count does not impact our ability to perform services or contract. We are assuming all Spring weddings are scheduled as planned unless we hear from you.

We still are offering financial incentive for rescheduling due to COVID-19. You may reschedule if you must or need to due to concerns, guest count, etc, but we will be requiring all couples rescheduling from this point on to pay price increase for 2021 or 2022 or peak month as it applies.

Ultimately, we are for you. Patrick and I are in your court, we want to fight on your behalf and do whatever we can to make the rescheduling process as stress free as possible. We provided incentive to all our GOVERNMENT FORCED reschedule couples. At this moment in time, Force Majeure is no longer in effect nor applies. We want to give you steps for rescheduling if you are still considering moving your wedding to a later 2021 or 2022 date.

To make things easy we have created this guide including steps to rescheduling, our availability calendar for 2021, our rescheduling policy (which you also have in contract), new boudoir studio policies and engagement session protocol and links to wedding blogs providing advice to couples during this time.

We are so sorry you even have to face this but are throwing confetti for you nonetheless.
