Today up on the blog, we are sharing Brittany and Joe’s beautiful American Visionary Art Museum Wedding! These two had such a full and fun day with some of the best variety of photos we’ve gotten at Loyola Chapel and AVAM. Some of my favorites of the day include the trolley that the girls rode in together to their ceremony and that the bridal party cheered in front of upon arrival at AVAM. I loved the first look between Brittany and her dad and when her brothers saw her for the first time, they were soo sweet and got emotional! She gifted her dad custom cufflinks with a photo of her as a baby and her handwriting. 

These two did not share a first look so the anticipation was really building with these two! At the end of their ceremony, they headed outside to a bubble send off where family and friends cheered them on as newlyweds. This is definitely one of my favorites on a wedding day!

Some after, we rocked and rolled on family sessions and then kept moving on to newlyweds, wedding party segments complete with a champagne spray, and a dance party on the trolley! 

AVAM was decorated sooo pretty for their reception and cockati hour. A custom bar, gorgeous florals, a sweetheart table surrounded by wedding party tables, and a dance floor big enough for their full guest count. The whole night was fun. My fav band, Nightsong, kept the party going for hours and speeches were both so sweet and hilarious. Some cool features of the day… a hot dog bar, a Sagamore Spirit whiskey barrel for the cake, A memory table that wasn’t quite a table, and everyone singing “All I want for Christmas,” Brittany’s favorite song request of the night.

Brittany and Joe, thanks for choosing us, for trusting us, for inviting us to dance at the end of the night. Your night shot was epic, your portraits are stunning, not just because we are good at our craft but because you were 100% yourselves with us, allowing us to get creative, to have fun and make you look incredible.
