I’m so excited to share this wedding for so many reasons! I met Paige years ago, in the winter of 2011, maybe it was even 2012. I was working for a brand agency in Towson, and Paige worked for one of our clients. Little did I know that years later, 8 years to exact, that Paige and Matt would reach out and hire us to be their wedding photographers. I honestly was so excited, nervous and honored. I didn’t really get to say goodbye to Paige when I stopped working for that agency, so reconnecting with her was so special. There is sooo much to go on about with this wedding, so I think it’s best if I just go in order!
So first off, the day started out in a beautiful corner suite at the 4 seasons hotel. The guys and girls spent time with their parties and family prepping for what would come ahead in the day. Paige and Matt shared beautiful reveals with their parents, and I especially loved that Matt’s letter to her had her smile crying the whole time she read. I’ve never had a groom give a gift to a sister, so that was especially sweet and so thoughtful of Matt.
These two shared a first look in Harbor East on the waterfront, followed by a family reunion with their Corgi! These guys had an awesome timeline! We love working with and collaborating with amazing planners and we were thrilled to work alongside Lemon & Lime on this wedding. We know it’s the first of many with those babes!
The day was beautiful, from the personalized details, favors, signage, cake, and more. We couldn’t have asked for better weather for their Mt Washington Dye House wedding, as guests sat under the covering of open skies with big puffy clouds, between the stone and brick of their industrial venue. When I think back on this wedding, I loved the speeches. I loved how honoring and funny they were, especially how this Loyola guy and NDP girl were destined to be!
The night rocked, party hopping, and guests were on the floor All. Night. Long. No one wanted to leave, and their foam stick send off and a surprise guest (StormTopper) sent Paige and Matt off to an after party with friends and family.
Paige and Matt, what a day. We LOVED being alongside you. To see you laugh and smile all day was so special and we are so excited for what’s ahead for you both. Savor each other and don’t be afraid to LOVE big. It’s the best! Cheers to you both!
