John and Victoria are getting hitched next April, shortly after our little one arrives. We are so thrilled to have these guys as one of our clients. When we told them we were expecting, they said “we’re just glad that you still want to be our wedding photographers. We don’t want anyone else.”
You have no idea what that meant to us John and Victoria. We are so honored to have you guys as one of our 2017 couples, AND we get to celebrate your forever with you guys!
One of my favorite parts of their engagement session was meeting their newest addition. Their Bernese Mountain Dog (our dream dog) is just a couple weeks old… sweet, gentle and amazing behind the lens. Cute, right!?
This wedding has been long awaited by our bride and groom. Amanda and Ross hired us back in 2014 for their 2015 wedding. They decided to postpone it a year to October 2016, so their wedding was definitely an anticipated wedding by them and their family. Our couple had a sweet wedding at Holy Cross in Baltimore with a cocktail style reception at The Brewer’s Art.
A few of the things that made this wedding super unique and special was the weave of Scottish tradition mixed into their wedding day. All men (including guests) were invited to dress is Scottish dress. Following the ceremony, a traditional Scottish toast where the bridal party all drinks out side of the church (called of a quaich) was taken.
I’m always amazed how folks come to find us and hire us for their big day. 3 years ago, I joined my mom and brother as he was going to meet his Prom date at her house. I came to take pictures. It was that day that I met an amazing family with 4 beautiful daughters. 1 daughter, Megan, hired us for her wedding a year later, and then her sister, Kaitlin, hired us to take fall pictures with her boyfriend last fall. Well… fast forward, Kaitlin asked us to be her wedding photographers, and now we have two brides that are sisters. That to be is exactly why we do what we do. Brand loyalty is something we have fought to have, worked hard to maintain, and we get to love entire families in the process. Kaitlin & Scott, we can’t wait to photograph your wedding next year!
When we first met Erin and Alex, it was at Bean Hollow in Historic Ellicott City. We just clicked with these guys. Erin and Alex are getting married next year and we couldn’t be more excited to be their wedding photographers. If you love Fells Point, you’ll love this engagement session… we ventured throughout the area finding great little spots that just made sense for these two! Erin and Alex, congrats! Can’t wait to see you guys again soon!
The very first time I met Justin and Mandy, I knew we would be friends. I was so so excited when they hired us because of their love for each other and the sentimental and loving aspects of their life and relationship.
The day started out with a forecast of rain all day. By the time we got outside, the rain left and clouds stayed with light mist. It didn’t keep these two from being outside though! We love how all the colors of this wedding flowed from room to room at the beautiful Cheasapeake Bay Beach Club Ballroom. The wedding colors were navy blue and white. Every groomsman wore personalized cufflinks that were rope knots and they matched the centerpieces at the reception. The creams, whites and greens were accents that highlighted the details of the invitations, the flowers, the gifts and the favors. Speaking of the favors, Koozies were gone in minutes of them being put out for the guests. One of my favorite moments of the day was seeing Justin’s gift to Mandy. Mandy’s mom is gone from this lifetime, but the day couldn’t have gone better because of her mom. Justin gifted Mandy a beautiful mini picture frame of her mom that was attached to her bouquet. How special. Her mom was with her all day, literally.
Heather and Michael had a unique and sweet wedding at Swan Harbor with handcrafted centerpieces surrounding a Disney theme. This day was supposed to be full of hours of rain, but thankfully it help off! This on the water wedding was full of singing and laughing throughout the day. We had the honor of photographing Heather’s sister’s wedding last fall so we are thrilled to have photographed two weddings from the same family. One of the coolest moments of the day… the falcon that flew the rings in for the ceremony to the best man. So unique!
Heather and Michael, we wish you guy the best on your adventure of marriage and hope for amazing things down the road for you both!
I couldn’t post this until AFTER little Dallas showed up! His name was a surprise!!
I had the honor of photographing a beautiful Tex Mex themed baby shower for the amazing Stephanie Bradshaw. I met Stephanie and her team of kick ass women earlier this year at a bridal shower, but they had no idea who we are. I had been following Stephanie on social media since 2014 and just was so inspired by her work, I knew I had to meet her.
Some of clients live in our area of town, and we love it, because we get to see them often post wedding day. The day Heather and Tyler returned from their honeymoon, they came over to our house to meet up with us and some other couples for dinner and a bonfire. The coolest part… we got to give them their wedding pictures in person a week later! Loved seeing their response in person!
Heather and Tyler got married and celebrated at a local Elkridge venue, Elkridge Furnace Inn. The ceremony was a classic Catholic Mass followed by a fun, wild, dance-filled reception at the Inn! Patrick was particular fond of the food options and once the night was over, we got to raid the candy bar at the request of their parents.
Josh and Christina had a BEAUTIFUL Belmont Manor Wedding on a gorgeous September day. With pinks and grays as their wedding colors, and flares of Jamaica, you know it was going to be a CRAZY wedding.
Josh and Christina have been in love for years… literally. 7.5 to be exact. This day was the fruition of dreams, conversations, adventures, and more. Josh wore a stunning custom navy suit by our friends at Capital Custom Clothiers, and Christina rocked a gorgeous Enzonani Francesca Wedding Gown, purchased at our friends at Bridals by Elena. The bridesmaids were gorgeous and the groomsmen dashing.
The ceremony was a semi-circle under the big Oaks in the back terrace of Belmont. Guests were involved and asked to interact in the ring ceremony, and the mother of the bride shared sweet words to her daughter, and soon to be son. Cocktail hour opened and ended with the beautiful strums of steel drums heard as friends and family talked, laughed, and chatted. The photobooth was a hit (we’re pretty proud of it ourselves) as guests stood in front of a tiki hut and Bob Marley Flag, decked out with Bob Marley Wigs, Cocunut Bras, and Sunglasses galore. Click here to see the photobooth fun!
Lauren and Brian, Congrats guys! We absolutely loved celebrating the day with you guys and all your family and friends. These two love birds got hitched at the historic Mount Vernon Place United Methodist Church on a beautiful windy day. With a first look at the Fells Point Waterfront, this day was nothing short of giggles, sweet whispers, and lots of love. Lauren wore a stunning lace fit and flare dress with a train and a custom cathedral length veil.
The reception was at the stunning and newly renovated Mt. Washington Mill Dye house with an outdoor cocktail hour. Guests enjoyed themselves at the custom whiskey & cigar bar, as well as the donut bar complete with bacon donuts.
Lauren and Brian, we can’t tell you enough how much we loved working with you guys. Thanks for trusting us with your wedding photography and for treating us like long time friends! We wish you guys the best!
