Oh man, this day! Emily and Kevin were going to get married regardless of the pandemic. They were determined. Of all our couples this year, these two had the BEST day! Emily and Kevin are some of the most genuine and sweetest couples we’ve had to date. Not that we don’t have the best couples on the planet but these two aren’t just sweet, they are nice, kind, so easy going, which if you can imagine, allowed us to maximize their day, their photo time, and they were ready for an adventure. We should have known this when it rained during their engagement session and it didn’t phase them at all. They just stayed positive all day!
Yah! Cara and Brad had an awesome session and we are so excited to share it with you today! These two cuties wanted to do photos at the beautiful Cylburn Arboretum… we’ve been shooting a lot there recently! These guys let us get creative with lighting, location, and more. They wanted to incorporate some champagne and so we attempted to teach a champagne explosion… good thing they have until their 2021 wedding to perfect it! They are really sweet together and to be honest, my favorite part of our time together was dinner at Petite Louis in Roland Park. We sat and talked so much about life, wedding and more. Seriously, can’t wait to be with them in 2021 for their wedding… we are going to have a blast!
Aww, Lisa and Kevin! Congrats you both. We met Lisa and Kevin the day of a wedding we had at Gramercy Mansion actually. They were scoping venues and we encouraged them to check out a few that we loved. They ended up going with BMI and then asked us to be their wedding photographers for their October 4th wedding. Then Covid hit MD and these two decided to postpone their big BMI wedding but still get married at BMI on their original wedding date. Patrick and I were so pumped to be there with them.
Congrats Clare and Gannon! What a beautiful wedding this was! Clare and Gannon decided to get married in 2020 and celebrate with family and friends at the beautiful Kings Contrivance wedding venue. We loved her color palette with the burgundy, merlot and dusty rose. Their bridal party was super fun and of course beautiful! Our favorite details from their day were the trolley, the sweet mini cake, and the parent dances. So sweet, and perfectly fitting for this sweet couple! Congrats Clare and Gannon! Thanks for including us in your day. We wish you the best!
We LOVE shooting weddings and engagement sessions for siblings of past couples! We met Katie and Mitch 2 years ago at Megan and Seth’s wedding! What an awesome and fun wedding that was! When Katie and Mitch got engaged, they told us we were one of their first decisions…we were so excited to be the ones that get to be alongside their wedding day!
Yah! This session finally happened! Haylie, Chris, Patrick and I had been anticipating this session for months, no joke! Originally their session would have been earlier this summer in June, but we all thought it wise to postpone it until we could have the session we all wanted for these two!
We spend our time together cruising the National Mall in DC, the place where these two met and fell in love. It was only fitting to go to all their favorite places, which were beautiful backdrops and scenary for their session. Their session would only be complete with their sweet pup Snoops! He did awesome. As Chris said, the session was A+ but Snoop got an F. lol. Not really, Snoop aka Dragon did awesome and we got what we could with all the amazing distractions that dogs love.
Yah! Congrats, you’re married! Caroline and Andrew were originally scheduled for a 2020 big wedding at the Pendry but decided to postpone their big day and still get married in 2020. They both got ready with family only at the Pendry and then headed to a Baltimore church where family and a small group of friends met them for a sweet ceremony. We were so excited to be able to be alongside them, even though their plans had changed and the day would look very different than originally planned. Caroline and Andrew, thank you for trusting us in the midst of crazy times and for still getting married and having us there to document it! We are so excited to be alongside you guys next year for part 2! It’s going to be awesome!
Nicole and Ray were a BLAST to work with. Their sense of humor is incredible… they had Patrick and I laughing our whole time together! They wanted photos in Towson due to it being a fav place of theirs and it’s where they spent their college years. We spent the first half of their session at the Historic Hampton Mansion and then went to Towson for the second half. They met in the Towers on campus, dorms side by side. Both were athletes at Towson, Baseball and Track/Field.
Guys, we loved your session! If you don’t already know, we love when pets are included in sessions. “Nike” their Great Dane/Lab mix was so sweet (Thanks Kelsey for helping out with Nike!).
Lindsay and Jay! Married! These lovebirds rescheduled their big 2020 wedding to 2021 yet still decided to have a wedding in the comfort of Lindsays parents home. Surrounded by close friends and family, these lovebirds were still able to have a great party with awesome food, florals and fun. Bunny and Buster stole the show as they are the beloved pets of Lindsay and Jay and her parents. It was totally fitting that they be part of family photos and newlywed portraits as well! Lindsay and Jay, we are soo excited to get to be alongside you guys next year and celebrate 2.0 with you! We wish you the best, enjoy Christmas together as husband and wife this year!
What a fun fun session. Complete with Champagne, a cute custom blanket, and smiles for days! Christy and Tom had an awesome session. I think most people show up nervous but these guys were ready, excited and super fun to work with. We loved getting to know them, to relearn their love story!
We found ourselves cruising all over the place and the variety these guys got is another reason I love great locations. The pier, the woods, the water, the sand… it’s all so pretty and these guys allowed us to get creative and try some new things too!
