Behind the Scenes 2019

We can’t believe it’s New Years Eve. We will be leaving in just a few hours to shoot our last wedding of 2019, in Annapolis on a boat, bringing in the New Year!

In 2019 we shot 42 weddings, 29 engagement sessions, 41 family sessions, 5 maternity sessions, and 8 newborn sessions. I still can’t believe this is our amazing life and we are so grateful and appreciative to all our family, friends, and clients for empowering us to do what we love! I haven’t always done behind the scenes posts just because of time and soaking up the Holidays with family, but I wanted to this year to see that at the end of the day, we are very normal, we love our couples, and we have a lot of fun doing what we love to do.

Let’s start out what the first part of the day! Getting Ready and Details!! Patrick is King of Rings… thankful he does what it takes to get the prettiest shots of rings and details! And shout out to Tony for coming alongside us this year in our launch of Radiant Films!

So I have this obsession with mirrors…. if there’s one at a venue, I make sure to do a selfie!

He doesn’t just take care of the grooms, but our brides too!

I of course love our brides too… happy to do whatever it takes to make sure they look fabulous, are comfortable, and total babes.

Want to share some of our amazing teams, both our Associate Team and our Cinema Team! Thankful for the relationships we have with these guys and girls and can’t imagine life and work without them. I love them so much!

The places and things our team will do to ensure great photos, composition, exposure, and sooo much more is limitless. Patrick has climbed a tree, gotten in bushes, and stood in the pouring rain to get epic shots.

Oh, the cake cutting. We both test light, we both listen to grandma’s tell us about the cake toppers and why the baker is the best in town. A fun little secret, Patrick LOVES cake… if he gets a chance to try some, it makes his night!

The next few photos just shows how cool our job is. At one of our weddings this year, we had multiple couples present. We just had to get photos with them!
