Our first wedding of the year is up on the blog! Angie and Steve were hoping for snow but as we all know, we haven’t gotten any this whole winter! That didn’t keep these two from having an incredible day alongside family and friends.

The morning was wonderful as Angie and Steve got ready and dressed alongside their closest friends. I love details! Steve had really neat R2-D2 cufflinks, and Angie had a beautiful custom ring box made. Angie shared some sweet moments with her mom as they spent time together getting ready. Three really great reveals happened soon after everyone was ready. Angie got to see her dad, her mom, and her brothers reactions to her fully ready to get married!

These lovebirds opted not to do a first look which allowed us to still get a lot of photos done on the front end. As guests arrived they went into the Wedgewood Ballroom, an awesome option for an intimate indoor ceremonies at Turf Valley. Love the huge chandelier down the center of the aisle! Both mothers of our bride and groom did readings at ceremony, a great way to incorporate family and parents into the day!

They were announced as husband and wife, friends cheered and guests ventured to cocktail hour! Once married, we cruised outside to rock and roll through their desired family segments and then met wedding party for an adventure to the green. Even though it was cold, everyone tolerated, listened and did awesome. Our couple got to see some friends during cocktail hour and also enjoy amazing hor’dourves! 

Reception was quite the party! DJ Korey (with a K) got the party started. To start, the place cards for seating were cards from a deck of cards! Favors were ornaments wrapped by the bride and groom. The cake topper was cute and Star Wars themed!

And dancing wasn’t an option for this crew! I think our couple danced more than any couple we’ve had in a long time. During dinner they were intentional to mingle with guests and visit tables but once the music started, it was non-stop. There were a few really fun speeches by the best man, and even Steve and Angie. One of my favorite parts of the night was Angie’s outfit change. When a bride wants to dance and be herself and without restraint… an outfit change is definitely on par!
