Some love stories are best told in the places where they quietly began, and for Aimee and Andrew, Lake Artemesia will always hold a special place in their hearts. Just outside of College Park, this scenic lake was a favorite spot for them during their dating years. They would walk, talk, and dream together here long before they imagined returning for their engagement photos.
It was so sweet to capture their session in a location woven into the fabric of their relationship. The calm water, lily pads, and golden light gave us the perfect backdrop for their laughter, tender moments, and genuine joy.
One of the coolest details about their story? Andrew has a promise ring —a beautiful symbol of commitment before the wedding day comes. That ring carries so much meaning for them, and we loved incorporating it into the session as part of their journey.
Aimee looked radiant in a classic white dress for part of the session, while Andrew kept things timeless in a sharp suit. They weren’t afraid to have fun either—heart-shaped sunglasses and playful twirls made for some of our favorite shots. Later, Aimee changed into a floral dress, and the two cozied up on a park bench surrounded by summer greens and golden light.
Together, they are such a joyful, authentic pair. The way Aimee leans into Andrew, the way he makes her laugh effortlessly—it’s clear these two have a foundation of friendship and love that runs deep.
