Kind and Sweet is how Patrick describes these two. When we did their engagement session we knew they were special. They were sweet, sincere, gentle, soft, and kind. They aren’t pushy, loud, obnoxious or self focused. Opposite from our personalities we somehow loved our time together, and found ourselves getting to know each other at the Mount Washington Tavern after dinner.
We have an inside joke with them. Two words: Little Sebastian. A little mole that photobombed their engagement session and since has just been a joke between the four of us.
When their wedding day came, Amy gets the award for most calm, laid back, and chill bride. She wasn’t anxious or nervous. When we met up with Eliott, we asked how he was feeling. His response… I’m not nervous, I’m excited.
After getting them dressed at the beautiful gramercy mansion, they shared a first look with family watching from a good 30 yards away, these two were emotional as they saw each other on their wedding day.
From the first time they saw each other to their beautiful and traditional Jewish ceremony, they couldn’t wait to be married. Hand in hand they were almost always. I loved it. It was evident they didn’t want to be apart or separate.
They kissed and snuggled under the gazebo during sunset portraits and continued to be sweet as they mingled through cocktail hour.
The reception was full of sweet speeches that were so honoring to the couple. Especially the speeches from both sets of parents. You can tell how much these families love each other and their new son and daughter in law.
Once the party started, guests were on the dance floor, in the Photobooth, and on the dance floor again. Cake cutting, Bouquet Tosses, and the Hora were all part of their night. Even their flower girls danced their little hearts out. One of their flower girls was on the dance singing, with microphone in hand, “Living on a Prayer”, it was hilarious.
Amy and Eliott, thank you for choosing us to stand alongside you on your wedding day. We may have not had florals in hand but instead hefty cameras, and we loved every minute.
Thank you again! We wish you guys the best!
