Let’s just say that RAIN made this day incredible. We knew the day would be a bit of a challenge with the weather, but upon walking in to meet Page and Jason, these two could have cared less about the weather. Page got ready surrounded by friends and Jason surrounded by close friends and his two sons.
These guys had a really sweet first look, in which Page gave Jason a little love tap to the rear before touching his shoulder to signal him turning around. We spent the next 30 minutes in downtown old Ellicott City, the 4 of us in our 4 runner moving throughout the town to get the photos these guys had dreamed of. Rain couldn’t stop these two! Patrick and I were thrilled… Page had her rain boots and we had the umbrellas and we all made it work!
We got back to the venue with time to do family photos and bridal party before guests arrived for the indoor ceremony. These guys had a cute non-traditional ceremony with an little “Adams Family” love woven in. These two got announced as husband and wife and headed into Cocktail hour where they mingled with guests and played Skeeball… yes, they brought in Skeeball for themselves and guests to play!
The rest of the night was wet and rainy and quiet the social event. We’ve never seen so many people decide to mingle, talk, catch up. It was pretty refreshing because we felt like there was much history and family in the room, no wonder.
Page and Jason, thank you for trusting us on one of the wettest days of the fall that we’ve had. Regardless of the weather, your love and excitement for the day was apparent and shown through like headlights in the fog, bright and steady. We think the world of you and wish you the best!
