Laura and Nick were an extremely sweet couple and their family was just as warm and inviting. Although I arrived a bit early for their elopement they wanted to get started right away and even walked down the aisle before the justice of the peace was even in the room! It was awesome. Even though they were eloping, Laura wanted to keep with the tradition of Nick not seeing her until she walked down the aisle so it made sense how they were so eager to do so. Their closest family members were all squeezed into the intimate room, but it was so magical and sweet! In classic elopement style, they were married quickly, but celebrated after for much longer!
After their ceremony, they were hugged and congratulations all around were made as we all made our way outside for some formal family photographs. Once these wrapped up, we took a stroll around the historic courthouse and even down the main city strip for portraits of the newlywed couple. The weather held out just long enough as we hopped in our cars to be saved from a torrential downpour and hail… and the couple went off to celebrate further with their family at a reception dinner. Check out a few of our favorite moments from their elopement below!
Laura and Nick, thanks for including me in your day!
