Baptism Sunday // Never the Same

Patrick and I have been Christian’s since we were little kids. Patrick and I grew up in the same church, but didn’t meet until after college when I moved home from Oklahoma.

We are not perfect and never will be. Thankfully we serve a God who has great grace, and a large capacity to love and forgive us, and as a result of experiencing this, we can offer that to those in our lives. Forever, our lives were altered because of an encounter and decision to put Christ as first priority in our life, and now in our marriage. We decided to follow Jesus.

Last Sunday, individuals across three church campus’ in Maryland, made the same decision. We were given the awesome opportunity to photograph Baptism Sunday at the church we’ve been attending for the last year. I love my church. I have been going to Way of Life Community Church in Forest Hill for almost an entire year. We believe in the power of the local church and placing value upon humanity. They have three beautiful campus’, one is Middle River, one is Forest Hill, and one in Cecil County. 

The entire service on Sunday: BAPTISM. No message, no sermon. It was the outward expression of individuals who have decided, in front of family and friends to choose Jesus as first priority and walk out their life in such a way to love God and love people…  (aka: Best decision I’ve ever made besides marrying Patrick).
