My mom turned 58 in March. I'm pretty sure she has not had any birthday parties in about 10 years or something crazy like that. So, I decided to throw her a surprise with her friends and some family.Read More
Patrick and I are excited to post this family shoot. Stephanie Felton is amazing. This was a neat shoot because we tied in anniversary and family into one shoot. Stephanie and Johnny celebrate 10 years of marriage this October. Stephanie was one of our wedding coordinators at our wedding and helped us out so much the day of. As a way to say THANK YOU, we offered to photograph their family in exchange for all her help. She and her family were so appreciative and planned on the shoot for weeks!Read More
This past Saturday, I spent 3 hours photographing a beautiful outdoor wedding for the newly wed, Atiya and Mohammed. Atiya and Mohammed are African American Muslims, a sweet and kind couple. Their wedding was unique and a cultural experience for me as I have never had the privileged of photographing a Ghanaian-Muslim wedding. I was honored to have been invited to and hired to photograph this wedding.Read More
Family shoots are always so fun to shoot... they are always full of laughter, trying new stuff, and getting babies or kids to sit still... even if for a few seconds.
Belinda is a friend of my mine and I've known her family for a couple years. She has three precious beautiful girls: Cora (11), Catalena (7), and Calleigh (16months).
Belinda wanted to get pictures of her girls for Easter, but little did she know how much fun we would have doing it! We headed to Sherwood Gardens, where Patrick and I had our engagement pictures a little over a year ago. Here's the outcome of our time together!Read More
Christina and Matt helped us with our November wedding. Christina was one of our day of coordinators... she picked up my bouquet, helped with all things ceremony the morning of the wedding, and came the day before to work as well. She did so much. And Matt, thanks for chainsawing all those wood pieces from your wood forest for our centerpieces... they will be great for bonfires this summer when you guys come over!
As a thank you, we wanted to bless them and give them something to have for years! They never got engagement pictures done, so we thought an anniversary shoot was fitting for these two... they are adorable and I'm pretty sure they fell in love all over again on Saturday.Read More
I still can't believe that on November 2nd, Patrick said yes to me. I am beyond blessed to have him for my husband. It's been 6 months. We are still newlyweds for another 6 months! Happy 6 months Patrick. Let's go get some yummy food and do something crazy!Read More
Newborn shoots are always unpredictable. I've come to the realization that newborns are fun to hold, to swaddle, to look at, etc. I'm looking forward to being a mom and having my own newborn some day. However newborns are NOT easy to photograph. In our photography services, these are the most difficult.Read More
We have been so excited to put up this blog post up! Jesse and Allyson just returned from an extended honeymoon, and we didn’t want them to miss the excitement surrounding the announcement of their wedding post! So we of course waited!! So here it is!
Jesse and Allyson got married on Friday, March 14th. They had a beautiful wedding and God gave them a perfect day for it. Purple and yellow bouquets, gray suits, a breeze in the air, and a partially cloudy day… a great recipe for a beautiful wedding. Allyson and her bridesmaids were beautiful and she was gorgeous. Jesse was so handsome and his guys of course complimented.
As you look through this post, you will find yourself smiling… I just know you will, we sure did.
Congrats, Jesse and Allyson and enjoy! There are so many pictures as you know and we couldn’t put all of them up!Read More
