We’ve been friends with these guys for over a year and a half as they hired us pretty soon after getting engaged. Which is so crazy when wedding day actually came about beause we felt like we just were part of the event and their crew which made our job so smooth with Jenn and James and their whole family and day.Read More

Your day started out amazing with incredible friends alongside you, 3 amazing men of honor, a tribe of babes next to them, and a group of men that loved to dance alongside Brent. Everything about your wedding was totally you and Brent. From a cookie cake with ballet slipper and Sneaker (you two and your shoes…. Well mainly Brent). Your dance team coming to support you, your dad giving one of the best speeches we’ve heard (made me cry) and watching you beam through sun and shade, was probably my most favorite. Oh an when you told me you were getting hot and my reply was “Ok, Great.” Jenn you know me so well. I wanted your photos to be incredible. I’m partial to you Jenn, I love you so much, I’m so happy for you and Brent, and can’t wait to see you guys again. Please come play and hang out and just be. Like you said in your text message and letter to me… our babies will play together as we laugh and enjoy the days to come.Read More
Where do we even start with this wedding and this couple. Our relationship with Rosalie and Jon started early, and when we say early, we mean when we all got up at sunrise for a beautiful sunrise DC session. We had a blast together and knew that when wedding day came, it would be not just fun, but really just a great day.Read More
They met on a Friday night at the bar where John works, Ropewalk Tavern in Fed Hill. They immediately hit it off and spent most of the evening together getting to know each other and dancing. They lost touch for a couple weeks only to reunite and they’ve been together since. Olivia is a horse lover, and they both have a mutual love for their dog, Slurpee, who gets the award as Maggie’s favorite dog name ever because of her love for Slurpees.
At a bridal show last year that I did solo, a girl and her mom walk up to me and I’m like “no way!!!” It had been YEARS since I had seen Tess, as we went to Bryn Mawr around the same time and graduated high school just a couple years apart. I hadn’t seen her since then. I met Ray that night and we were so excited when they reached out again about hiring us for their wedding. We were so pumped and honored!!
If there’s two people that just go together, it’s Chelsea and Matthew. We met these guys at a Bridal Show when Chelsea told me that her photographer bailed. Her dad, little did I know, was watching us from afar and approached me and said “we want to hire you. I’ve been watching and we love how you deal with people.” They literally booked us that night. Little did we know what we were getting ourselves into. I’m gonna stop for a second and say, Off Beat is exactly who these people are. They aren’t into trends, they don’t care about fame. But what they do care about is those they love, their heirlooms, their music, and of course, their mopeds.
Billy and Claire both attended Virginia Tech and had over 100 mutual friends but had never met. It was outside of the college life that Claire and Billy first met. Claire had moved to DC, reconnected with friends, and met Billy at one of the hangouts. Things evolved as they became dates for each other to alumni events and parties, and the rest is history.Read More
