OMG>>>>> This is like the post of the year! So first off…. this is probably one of those posts that I get really really excited about posting, but I’d like to set up this story, because it’s awesome.
First off, Meet Sarah. If you don’t know that we have this kicka$$ team member, well you do now. Sarah has been with us for 3.5 years, which is so so crazy to think. We found her through one of our couples when we were looking for work and help around the office. Sarah grew into basically another photographer for our team, and she leads our secondary teams, shooting weddings with us and solo, when we are out shooting weddings ourselves. She’s honestly a huge reason that we’ve done so well, succeeded, and helped us book incredible clients. She’s the behind the scenes extraordinaire!
Sarah and Grayson have been together for years and years. She may pinch me later, but I’m going to say 9 years. Grayson is a stud. He may not look tough and big, but this guy is the first surviving pediatric pancreatic cancer survivor. He was diagnosed with cancer when he was _____. He’s actually the reason “The Whipple” even exists. Go google that if you need some history. He’s been cancer free for years and his body continues to defy the odds as he battles diabetes and other health issues from his incredible pursuit of health and battling cancer. He’s a serious champion and we love him heaps.
These guys were planning on getting married in December (well they still are having a killer party in December) but due to some health needs, they decided to elope. My favorite part… we get a text the night before, and they invite us to be there as witnesses, friends, family, and photographers. Heck ya! We did bring Zeke as the unofficial, official ring bearer… my dream came true!
They got married, we all hugged and kissed, and afterwards we spent time with their families eating breakfast together.
Sarah and Grayson, welcome to the greatest club on the planet: marriage. It’s the best, even on bad days, because you get to share life together with someone, believing the best, and wanting the best for the other person.
We love you guys so much! Thanks for including us in your elopement… we can’t wait to shoot your December wedding!
