We’ve photographed many Jewish weddings, but for some reason, Rachel and Bens wedding and Ketubah signing was so cool and so special. Maybe it was just the fact that our couple was so close to their Rabbi that it made it even more sentimental.

Rachel and Ben were the last of our November weddings. It had rained so much leading up to their wedding day that we were all relieved when there was no rain on their wedding day.

They both got ready at the amazing Engineers Club which was also their ceremony and reception venue. Love when everything is at one location. They were so excited for their first look and gosh was it sweet. Their time together and with their bridal party was amazing. It was SO cold but they rocked their wedding day, even when Rachel could no longer feel her toes. Most of us couldn’t feel our toes haha.

Their ceremony was so neat as they had 10+ family and friends participate in Hebrew and English readings, and many ceremonial songs were sang as well. With the breaking of the glass and are cheer for the bride and groom, Rachel and Ben left their ceremony as husband and wife and shared time solo uninterrupted post ceremony.

Wedding Party Speeches, Welcome Toasts and a Jewish Blessing kicked off their reception. Dinner was amazing and our bride and groom mingled with guests as they enjoyed their meal.

My personal favorite… Ben surprised serenaded Rachel in front of all their family and friends and guests at the wedding. Ben was part of an acapella group in college. These two shared a really sweet first dance and their parent dances were also emotional and special.

Rachel and Ben, thank you for including us in your day. Watching your love story evolve over the last year has been really special and watching you and capturing one of the biggest moments and decisions in your life is incredible. We wish you the best and can’t wait to see where your marriage takes you!
