Their wedding day was just as fun! These two got married on a beautiful, sunny day in North Beach at Herrington on the Bay. I was so glad that both our photo team and our video team were there to capture it! Enjoy this special season, you two, and all your upcoming adventures in North Carolina! Thank you so, so much for letting us capture your day!Read More
Tom and Caitlin had a classic and elegant wedding downtown in Fells Point! They had an intimate ceremony in Catonsville at St. Hilda’s Episcopal Church (formerly St. Timothy’s) where Caitlin’s mom got married at years ago! We were even able to recreate her parents’ favorite wedding photo at the church’s door.Read More
Alyssa and Prashant did so well at their Fell’s Point engagement session a few weeks ago! They really took our engagement session style guide to heart, and came dressed to the nines! Prashant, our fashion king, even had custom cufflinks and a custom embroidered shirt!Read More
Laura and Kurt are some of the most patient people ever, and I’m so grateful! All day we were praying for sunny skies and we almost made it… until it was time for their first look! Laura braved the winds to go outside and have a sweet, quiet moment with Kurt before the skies opened up on us! Luckily, the storm passed, and we were even able to get a few pictures in the rain. It ended up being the best of both worlds!Read More
The best part of this job is shooting special moments for friends and family, and shooting for special people that become friends and family. The longevity of this job is great! The families grow and you get to do maternity shoots, newborn pictures, family sessions, etc. In this case, this proposal was a special moment for an already great friend. Jon, aka “Munch”, was one of Sarah’s best friends in college, but it had been six years since they had seen each other! What a fun treat to get to document this super sweet moment for them!Read More
Wow, what an exciting wedding! Marlina and Jake celebrated a beautiful American & Indian fusion wedding last month, and it was massive! Our largest to date with over 420 guests! Talk about family love and support!Read More
Sarah met up with Mallory and DJ for a surprisingly warm Sunday down in Owings, MD. These two cuties live on the Eastern Shore, but grew up near Owings and that's where their parents still live. It was a wedding-packed weekend, with Mallory finding her dress that weekend, too. These guys had a beautiful session on Mallory's parents' property complete with water, a dock, and their sweet, fluffly Golden Luna. We had a ton of fun with their energetic pup and are so thankful for DJ's mom for the beautiful handmade sign!Read More
It was so great to meet Laura and Kurt at the Living Radiant office a few months ago! They are the sweetest couple, their wedding to be focused on their family and friends. When it got time to plan their engagement session, Laura said she really wanted it to feel like fall! Well, fall came late this year and with all of the rain we had to reschedule until we could find a perfect day with the perfect colors! We met at one of my favorite places, Patapsco State Park. There is so much variety there, from bridges to the river to even train tracks. It's always one of our favorites. Luckily, the weather was great that day and we were able to find some beautiful fall-like places to shoot! We even spotted a part of the track that was shared with a family of deer. Check out their pictures below and stay tuned for their wedding this summer! Can't wait!Read More
When we met Robyn and Robert and they told us they were getting married on a glacier in Alaska I knew they were a perfect fit for us. Instead of the big huge ballroom wedding they opted for a backyard reception, with minimal decor as they just wanted it to be a reunion and meet and greet as newlyweds.Read More
It was such an honor to shoot Sarah and Jake's wedding. Maggie and Patrick have known Sarah and her family for years through church! While they were off shooting another, I was spending the day on a beautiful winery, with a beautiful couple, and an ornery goat.
Sarah and Jake have been long distance for so many years, both being military. They are still going to be long distance for the first few months of their marriage! I can't imagine. But if anyone can handle it with grace, these two can.
